I filled out my Census! Have you? After speaking with Harris County Judge Hildalgo and doing a little research of my own, I realized just how serious this Census thing really is! Here are my top 3 reasons why I took the Census!

The 2020 census is your opportunity to secure funding for what matters to YOU and your community – for the next 10 years. These federal funds help support schools, hospitals, roads, public works and other vital programs in YOUR neighborhood. Let’s say you have potholes and bad streets (like over on Richmond and Dunvale!) If know one in that Stoney Brook area fills out the Census, funds may go elsewhere! This is just an example!

It is Secure!

Don’t worry, your responses are secure and by law cannot be shared! – The law is clear—no personal information can be shared. Under Title 13 of the U.S. Code, the Census Bureau cannot release any identifiable informa- tion about individuals, households, or businesses, even to law enforcement agencies.
